Cookie Policy
We keep cookie usage to the absolute minimum — one session cookie to keep you logged in, nothing else.
1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They allow the site to recognise your device and remember certain information across page loads and sessions. We use cookies sparingly and only when necessary.
2. Cookies We Use
- —sb-auth-token (Supabase) — a session cookie set when you sign in. It keeps you logged in across page loads. Expires when you sign out or after 7 days of inactivity. This cookie is strictly necessary for the Service to function.
- —No advertising cookies — we do not use Google Ads, Facebook Pixel, or any other advertising network cookies.
- —No cross-site tracking cookies — we do not embed third-party trackers.
- —No analytics cookies — we do not use Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or similar tools that set persistent cookies.
3. Strictly Necessary Cookies
The Supabase session cookie is strictly necessary for authentication. Without it, you would be logged out on every page navigation. Because it is strictly necessary, it does not require your prior consent under ePrivacy regulations — but we disclose it here for full transparency.
4. Local Storage
In addition to cookies, Vizedly uses browser localStorage to save your editor preferences (theme colours, font choices, sidebar state) locally on your device. This data never leaves your browser and is not transmitted to our servers. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.
5. Third-Party Cookies
- —Stripe — if you visit our checkout flow, Stripe may set cookies to prevent fraud and ensure payment security. These are governed by Stripe's Cookie Policy.
- —We do not embed YouTube, Google Maps, social media widgets, or any other third-party iframes that would set additional cookies.
6. How to Control Cookies
- —Browser settings: all major browsers allow you to view, block, or delete cookies. Blocking the session cookie will prevent you from staying logged in.
- —Chrome: Settings → Privacy and Security → Cookies and other site data.
- —Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security → Cookies and Site Data.
- —Safari: Preferences → Privacy → Manage Website Data.
- —Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.
7. Do Not Track
Vizedly respects the Do Not Track (DNT) browser signal. We do not track your behaviour across third-party sites regardless of your DNT setting.
8. Changes to This Policy
If we introduce new cookies in the future (for example, if we add analytics), we will update this page and, where required by law, request your consent before setting those cookies.
